The prime objective of Cyient Foundation wrt energy and environment is to achieve long-term, holistic development of the community and committed for environmental protection, Cyient Foundation has pledged to plant over 10,000 plant samplings every year and also committed to afforestation in and around the Cyient Facilities and also pledge to use the green.

Cyient Foundation had initiated numerous initiatives in protecting the environment. Started planting trees since 2016, started with 5000 samplings and year on year reached to 16000 plant samplings. Engaged Cyient Associates and their family members in plantation drives, encouraged the Cyient Adopted Schools children to plant trees and adopt plants in their communities, plantation in and around adopted schools, urban forestry lands, parks and walkways and foot paths, collects large amounts of water that helps in mitigating the effects of drought & causing less stress to the water table. Conducts environmental awareness programs in collaboration with various NGO’s to motivate pro-conservation attitudes and sustainable practices by enhancing knowledge, skills and action competence. School Building Roof tops to tap the rain water, installed solar panels on school building Roof tops to generate green energy for the school’s usage. Generated over 61000 units of the excess green energy and is distributed to the community.
